Getting connected

Internet & the building network

Metropol is served by a private fibre-to-the-premises network supplied by SUPA Networks. SUPA is the network provider for the building.

To get connected, choose one of SUPA Networks' participating retail service providers and arrange your plan with them. The guide below explains how to connect to the internet at Metropol.

Touch-ups & renovations

Unit finishes & colours

Planning a touch-up or repaint? The original paint, carpet and flooring schedule for your apartment is below. Walls and ceilings throughout are Dulux Lexicon Half (low-sheen acrylic). Any alteration still needs an alteration application.

Day to day

Everyday essentials

The practical housekeeping of living here. Full procedures are in the Rules and the Welcome Pack.

Waste & recycling

General waste and recyclable waste chutes are in each building. Larger items go to the ground-floor rubbish disposal — never left beside the chutes or on common property.

Deliveries & parcels

Please collect deliveries promptly. Parcels and food must not be left in foyers, at unit doors or on common property. Bulky deliveries follow the moving procedure.

Moving in & out

Give at least 3 business days' notice. Moves run 9am–4pm weekdays (excluding public holidays) using the lift key and blankets. Removalists use the loading dock behind Metropol 1 & 2.

Storage & mailboxes

Keep your letterbox locked. Storage cages must not be overfilled and nothing may be placed on top of a cage (it can impede the fire sprinklers).

Governance

The Owners Corporation

Metropol is managed by the Metropol Owners Corporation — the body responsible for the upkeep of common property: the structure, lobbies, lifts, rooftop, parking and shared services.

The Corporation is run by an elected Executive Committee, with day-to-day administration handled by Grady Strata & Facilities. Building updates are posted to the noticeboard as they happen.
